RISE doctoral candidate Adina Arth elected to the Swiss Young Academy

The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences have announced the election of Adina Arth to the Swiss Young Academy as of 1 May. Following a highly competitive selection process, the HSG doctoral researcher successfully convinced the selection committee with her interdisciplinary profile and research vision.

Adina Arth is pursuing her PhD at the RISE – Institute of Responsible Innovation, Sustainability and Energy under the supervision of Judith Walls. Her research explores how individuals within organizations can drive transformation towards biodiversity and sustainability.

The Swiss Young Academy is an interdisciplinary network that promotes outstanding early-career researchers and fosters initiatives at the interface of science, society, and policy. During her five-year membership, Adina aims to strengthen collaboration between biodiversity and business research in Switzerland and to further advance interdisciplinary exchange on sustainability challenges.

“I am convinced that solutions for sustainability and biodiversity conservation require stronger collaboration across disciplines and generations,” says Arth. “As a member of the Swiss Young Academy, I hope to further strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation in Switzerland, particularly between biodiversity and business sciences.”
